2017 Winter Solstice Show
Griffin Museum of Photography, 67 Shore Road, Winchester, MA 01890
December 7 – 31, 2017; Reception: Thursday, December 7, 7 – 830 pm
Pastel landscape artist Larry Grob is opening his studio to droppers-in on December 9-10. All are welcome to visit, catch up, and see what’s new. Works include pleinair and studio paintings, and feature views from the North Shore, Maine, and Vermont. Preview work on Larry’s web site. Studio: 19 Fairhope Road, Weston, MA (near the Cambridge School).
William Mason Lord
The opening reception of WASTELAND featuring William Lord’s current work will be held at The Room at ReMarkable (5 Main St., Peterborough, NH) on 11/18 from 4-7pm. His usage of scrap pieces of paint arranged into landscape paintings draws a parallel between the importance of extending the life of products and the places we risk losing if we don’t.
