Bring the whole family for this workshop on crafting better photos of your family’s outdoor adventures. Photographer and father Erik Gehring will lead the group in wandering Crane’s Beach at low tide, a place he has photographed his sons Carl and William for many years, while discussing tips and tricks to get better photos.

New artist website. I find struggling to build a new web site is like struggling with a painting…but worse. Finishing it is gratifying–thrilling actually–but as with a painting, you’ve got to keep doing more. Nonetheless, you have to freeze the moment and say “Here it is!”. So, here it is…
Irene Stapleford will have a solo show of paintings at the Weston Public Library Art Gallery, 87 School Street, Weston, throughout January 2017. Opening reception Sunday, Jan. 8, 2-4 p.m. I consider myself a painter, but have also been influenced by my graphic design work, finding much to explore in the intersection of paint and imaging software.
My monotype triptych, Inaudible Image/Invisible Sound, was juried into the 2016 RED Biennial, University Place Gallery, Nov. 8 – Dec. 21, 2016.
