Renate von Buelow Wilson

Renate von Buelow Wilson was born and educated in Germany. She has had a lifelong interest in drawing and painting.

Renate attended the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School, studied color and design with Albert Alcalay at the Harvard School of Design, and received an A.L.B. degree cum laude in Art History from Harvard University. Since then she has concentrated on painting. She is currently studying at the studio of George Dergalis.

Renate describes herself as a representational artist who loves color and finds beauty in all things, especially flowers. She exhibits periodically in juried shows, including at the Concord Art Association where she is an Artist Member and in the Gallery of the Concord Free Public Library.

Renate lives in Concord with her husband and has two daughters. Her travels to Europe give her inspiration and her daily walks around the Great Meadows connect her with nature and give her the quiet that she needs for her painting.
