If
the cacophony of urban life influenced artists such as Lyonel
Feininger to create powerful street scenes, how does working
in a more tranquil space affect the work produced by contemporary
artists? Visitors to the Concord Art Association can ponder
this question, June 30-August 10, 2005, when artists from three
area studios will present their work.
Over
100 artists from three Middlesex County studios, ArtSpace-Maynard,
Emerson Umbrella (Concord/Carlisle), and The
Mill at Littleton will present their work in a variety
of media including painting, glass, sculpture, textiles and
photography.
Please
join us for the opening reception, June 30 from 6-8 pm at the
Concord Art Association.
Since
its founding in 1917, the Association has promoted and advanced
contemporary art through exhibitions, lectures and classes.
