Andrew Anderson-Bell earned his BFA from Colby College in Maine, with a fifth year of study at Rhode Island School of Design. Andrew is a practicing artist exhibiting in galleries in Newburyport, Ipswich, Rockport, Kennebunkport and Cambridge, MA. His website is www.anderson-bellstudio.com

Paul George, a New England artist and teacher, has a BS degree from Northwestern University
and has studied at the MFA School in Boston. He is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society and an active member of the New England Watercolor Society, Cape Cod Art Association and the former vice president of the Rockport Art Association. Jon Imber has been exhibiting his paintings and teaching in the Boston area for twenty-five years. He currently teaches drawing at Harvard and has taught at RISD, SVA in New York City, Mass College of Art and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. He has exhibited with the Nielson Gallery for 25 years and recently held an exciting demo at the Concord Art Association. Elisa Pearmain is a professional storyteller with over 20 years of experience telling stories in schools, libraries and festivals throughout New England. She is the author of award-winning books, a teacher of story telling and licensed therapist. Elisa shares delightful gems of wisdom in her telling of many of the world’s spiritual traditions and folk tales. Charles Shurcliff, an Ipswich native, started drawing during the Roosevelt administration. He spent 20 years learning the fundamentals of seeing and painting from his grandfather, Cape Ann painter Charles Hopkinson. He studied figure drawing for four years with Morton Saks, and art history for eight years in college and graduate school. Charlie says, “Today I paint only on site. What a pleasure it is to stand at the edge of the universe and try to capture a piece of it with subtle color relations and sparkle and magic that give them life and meaning.”  Google Charles Shurcliff for more information.

Jeanne Smith earned a PhD in English Literature and taught college level English for 10 years before turning her attention to art full time in 2003. Winner of several awards, she has studied art at Georgetown University and the duCret School and Visual Art Center. In 2005 she became a juried associate member of the Pastel Society of America. Her work has appeared in national juried exhibitions and she currently teaches classes in pastel and watercolor.

Lenice Strohmeier is a signature member of the New England Watercolor Society and North Shore Arts Association. Her work has been exhibited in many national shows and hangs in numerous private collections. Tom Sutherland discovered a passion and talent for watercolor painting after 12 years as an engineer and 30 years of woodworking and carving antique and period signs for companies worldwide. Mentored and taught by international painter Alvarez Castagnet, Tom developed a spontaneous impressionistic style depicting coastal landscapes and in particular, cityscapes. He is represented by the North Shore Arts Association and the Rockport Art Association. His work hangs in many private collections in the US, Great Britain and Germany.
