Day Trip to Portland Museum of Art, Maine

Join us as we visit the Portland Museum of Art in Maine to see how New England played a key role in the creation of an America identity in the early 20th century. You will see the works of recognized artists such as Edward Hopper, Childe Hassam, Rockwell Kent and George Bellows. This exhibition chronicles the development of Impressionist Connecticut and Modernist Maine.

After a delicious catered lunch, we will visit the spectacular Victoria Mansion, a superb example of American architecture and a unique example of the princely palaces of AmericaÕs wealthiest citizens in the pre- Civil war era.

 

 

$150 Members (add $25 for non-members)
